The Australian species Nicotiana walpa is newly described here from plants collected at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in Northern Territory, Australia, and illustrated cultivated Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Its discovery, ecology, cytology cultivation are discussed.
